Have
you ever sat down in a workshop, been handed a
boring black and white handout of Powerpoint slides,
and sat through a presentation
that consisted of nothing more than the trainer
reading those slides word-for-word? I have. Never again.
Training should be more than interesting, it should
be relevant and useful. Training should do more
than keep you awake, it should be enthusiastic
and motivational. Training should challenge your
mind, involve you, and give you something of value.
Evan
M. Peterson has been developing and providing
training for professionals and volunteers in workplaces
across the United States
for over a decade. His presentation style is dynamic
and interactive.
The focus of training isn't information: it's
what to do, how to do it,
and why it should be done that way. What you hear,
what you
see, and what you have in your hand, will support
and
compliment each other, not be identical.
